Taras Babiak, M.D., is a psychoanalyst in
private practice in Port Credit and Toronto, Ontario. He is a faculty
member and supervisor at the Institute for the Advancement of Self
Psychology, the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and
the Toronto Psychoanalytic Institute. He is an assistant professor in
the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, University of
Toronto. Through his company, IRIS Consulting, he consults with
professionals and business people approaching retirement and with
actors, artists and performers about performance enhancement.
Midge Breslin, MEd., is in private
practice as a psychoanalyst and couple and family therapist in Toronto.
She is a graduate of IASP and is presently a supervisor, faculty member
and President of the Board of IASP. She is a registered member of the
American and Ontario Associations for Marriage and Family Therapy and a
clinical member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists, IARPP and
IAPSP.
Bruce Herzog, MD, FRCPC, is a faculty and
Board member of IASP and a member of the faculty to the Toronto
Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TICP). He is a psychoanalyst
in private practice in Toronto and is a regular contributor at the
Annual International Conference on the Psychology of The Self.
Sam Izenberg, M.D. FRCP(C), is a
founding member IASP, Chair of the Ethics Committee at the Toronto
Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis, Assistant Professor of
Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, and psychotherapy supervisor at
St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. He is in private practice as a
psychoanalyst and psychotherapist. His main areas of interest include
self psychology, psychoanalytic and psychotherapy technique and
ethics.
Alan Kindler, MBBS, FRCP(C), is a
psychoanalyst in private practice in Toronto and past president of IASP.
He is a member of the International Council of Psychoanalytic Self
Psychology, a training analyst with the Toronto Institute of
Psychoanalysis and on the faculty of the Toronto Institute for
Contemporary Psychoanalysis. He is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry
at the University of Toronto.
Judith Levene has been a psychoanalyst for 15
years and a psychotherapist for 40 years. She was also a professor of
Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University for 18 years, teaching
clinical courses to Masters and Doctoral students. She has also taught
and supervised at IASP, TICP, and the TIP in several of their
psychotherapy programs and is a faculty member of the Department of
Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
Sonia Singer, MEd, is a graduate of
the IASP program in Psychoanalysis. She
is currently teaching in the IASP program and supervises clinicians and candidates.
She also co-instructs a couple therapy course for clinicians using an intersubjective
approach. She is Vice-chair of the Board of IASP as well as Chair of the
Student Progress Committee. She has been in private practice for nearly
thirty years in Toronto. Sonia has an Honours Degree in Psychology and a
Masters Degree in Adult Education and Counselling.
